Bay leaves

Bay leaves are dark green and provide a sweet balsamic scent, which reminds of oregano and thyme. They are mainly used for soups, sauces for baked meat, meat rolls, stew and baked fish. It is one of the few “leafy plants” that does not lose its taste when cooked. It is included in the “garnishing bouquet” in addition to thyme and parsley.
