White peppercorns

It is both slightly spicy and slightly aromatic. It is widely used in Japanese and Chinese cuisine, where black pepper is not used. It is also appreciated in Western cuisine, being widely used in sauces, salads, and various dishes where other types of pepper would alter the colour and/or presentation.
